Methodology

[

The L.I.N.G.U.A. methodology consists of a series of interconnected processes and methods to set up our services as a window of opportunity for companies that want to start their internationalisation process through professional translation for companies.

This is possible thanks to a prior comprehensive analysis of the methodological techniques that have been used in this sector to date This has enabled the design of an exclusive procedure to ensure that our clients’ documents are translated reliably and are given value based on the importance they hold.

For Tradulingua, each project is unique. We believe that the privacy and confidentiality of the documents entrusted to us are key to the proper implementation of the processes.

How does our methodology work?

STEP 1:
Receipt of documentation

Our careful methodology begins when we receive the client’s documentation following prior communication in which we analyse the client’s needs. This documentation is stored on an encrypted server to protect it throughout the entire procedure.

STEP 2:
Analysis of the document

Once our team has received the documentation, the second step of the L.I.N.G.U.A. methodology is the analysis of the documents. This analysis is both qualitative and quantitative.

Qualitative analysis of the documents is essential to understand the nature of the text, as well as the sector, the level of specialisation required and all the technical details that must be reviewed by our team. This process is key, as the information obtained will be useful to assign the professionals to be in charge of the project.

In the quantitative analysis, we input the documentation into the computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools at our disposal to count the words to be translated. In addition, these tools allow the information to be stored in the translation memory of each client.

STEP 3:
Submission and acceptance of the proposal

Following the qualitative and quantitative analysis, we draw up the quote and send it to our client, with whom we agree a delivery date according to their needs. At Tradulingua, delivery times are always set by our clients.

The quote is drawn up taking into account the number of words to be translated, but also other aspects such as the qualifications required to undertake the translation or repetitions in the text to be translated. Thanks to this, we are able to offer very competitive rates.

STEP 4:
Translation

Once the client has accepted the quote, it is time for the translation. Our team of specialised translators have previously signed a strict confidentiality agreement to safeguard the privacy of our clients. All of them are native speakers of the target language and experts in the field of the translation in question. We also have an extensive network of sworn translators for those projects that require them.

Using the latest technology in the field of translation for company documents, this multidisciplinary team of linguists approaches translations in an optimal manner, adhering to the quality standards required by ISO 17100. These artificial intelligence tools range from computer-assisted translation software or terminology databases to neural machine translation systems. This interlocking process makes it possible to complete the tasks entrusted to us in record time and with guaranteed quality.

STEP 5:
Quality Assurance

Before delivery of the finished project, it is time for quality control. This control is performed through a comprehensive review of the translation. The project manager will be in charge of this stage; he or she is key, as he or she will be responsible for quality assurance in accordance with ISO 17100. Thus, we ensure that the translation meets our client’s needs and the criteria laid down in the standard.

STEP 6:
Delivery of the documentation

Finally, the documents are delivered to the client. Delivery can take place in two formats, i.e. digital format and—for sworn translations—paper format.

If the digital format is requested, it will be sent to you by e-mail.

As for the paper format, in the case of a sworn translation, if clients so wish, they can request to have the translation sent in this format by express courier service.
